AI Engineer (Python, LLMs)

About the role

An AI engineer to build production AI features for our clients: assistants that answer from company documents, agents that complete tasks and the checks that keep them reliable.

Creuto is an OpenAI Select Partner. You will build AI features that businesses rely on: assistants that answer from company documents, extraction tools and agents, with the checks that keep them accurate.

What you’ll do

• Build retrieval-augmented generation pipelines over client data
• Integrate OpenAI and other model APIs into products
• Design evaluation sets and guardrails for answer quality
• Ship AI features behind clean APIs
• Track quality, latency and cost of AI features
• Work with product and design on how AI fits the user experience
• Document what works and share it with the team

What you’ll need

• Strong Python skills
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, embeddings and vector search
• Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation
• A habit of measuring quality with real test sets

Nice to have

• Experience with agents and tool calling
• Backend experience with FastAPI or Node.js
• Experience deploying AI features to production

About you

• Python projects with LLMs, embeddings or vector search
• An evidence-first approach to measuring AI quality
• Understanding of APIs and back-end basics
• Curiosity and clear writing
