DevOps Engineer (AWS)

About the role

A DevOps engineer to set up and run cloud infrastructure for the products we build: deployments, monitoring, security and cost control.

You will own how our products are deployed and run: cloud environments, pipelines, monitoring and the security and cost habits that keep them healthy.

What you’ll do

• Set up cloud environments on AWS, and on Azure or Google Cloud when needed
• Build CI/CD pipelines for web and mobile projects
• Set up monitoring, alerts and backups
• Keep infrastructure secure and costs under control
• Automate repeatable work with scripts and infrastructure as code
• Respond to and learn from incidents
• Advise developers on reliable deployment practices

What you’ll need

• Hands-on AWS experience
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform or similar
• Linux and networking basics

Nice to have

• Kubernetes experience
• Azure or Google Cloud experience
• Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus or Datadog

About you

• Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure as code
• Comfort with Docker and CI/CD tools
• A calm approach to production issues
• Clear documentation habits
